Through national and local efforts, as citizens who value gender equality and fair treatment, we can raise awareness of this phenomenon and even out the price differences. This website offers a starting point to learn about the history of the Pink Tax, raise awareness for the products that are unfairly up-charged, and finally, direct people to resources, legislation, and actions that can be taken to combat the Pink Tax. Through the implementation of legislation on national and state levels banning the pink tax, as well as individual efforts to hold brands accountable and shopping gender neutral, the repercussions of the pink tax would be significantly smaller.
